Pile Law Firm offers paid membership tiers (Foundation Estate, TrustCare, Business Legacy, and ElderShield) through PileLaw.com that include access to legal services and related benefits described for each tier (“Membership Programs”).
No Attorney-Client Relationship Without a Signed Engagement Agreement. Enrollment in a Membership Program and payment of membership fees do not, by themselves, create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when you and Pile Law Firm execute a written engagement agreement describing the specific legal services to be provided. Until an engagement agreement is signed by both you and Pile Law Firm, no attorney-client relationship exists, and Pile Law Firm has no obligation to provide legal advice or legal services to you. Your membership fee provides access to the benefits, scheduling, and services described for your tier, subject to execution of the applicable engagement agreement before any legal service is delivered.
Fees. Your membership fee covers access to your selected tier’s benefits and services as described at enrollment. Fees for legal services delivered under a signed engagement agreement, and how those fees are handled, will be addressed in that engagement agreement.
Pricing and Disclosure. The membership fee, billing frequency, and initial charge amount will be clearly disclosed to you before you enroll. If we change membership pricing, we will provide at least thirty (30) days’ advance written or electronic notice before the new price applies to your account. Continued enrollment after that notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Automatic Renewal. All memberships automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually, as applicable) unless canceled before the renewal date. For annual memberships, we will send a renewal reminder to the email on file at least fifteen (15) days before your renewal date. For monthly memberships, your enrollment confirmation and this section serve as your ongoing notice of the recurring charge.
Authorization. By enrolling, you authorize Pile Law Firm to charge your designated payment method on file for the applicable recurring fee at the start of each billing period. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and will notify you by email; your membership access, including scheduled reviews and attorney access, may be suspended until payment is resolved.
Annual and Periodic Entitlements. Services described as included annually or periodically (for example, an annual document update, a semi-annual check-in, or annual trust funding tasks) do not carry over between billing periods, are not banked, and are forfeited if unused during the applicable period. Cancellation or non-renewal does not entitle you to unused entitlements from a prior period.
Cancellation. You may cancel at any time before your next billing date through your account dashboard or by emailing memberships@pilelaw.com. Cancellation is available through the same channels used to enroll. Upon cancellation, your membership privileges remain active through the end of your current paid billing period. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods or for unused entitlements.
